Living full time on the road brings a whole new set of challenges, especially when you have pets. As most of you are aware, we lost our very good and close friend last week. Jake was a special part of our family and an integral part of our ministry and we are still grieving his loss. It will take some time for us to get through our daily routine without him. It seems that everything we do we think of him – whether it’s making sure we don’t trip over him, getting ice out of the freezer or just waking up in the morning and looking for him to wake up and stretch and provide kisses.
We want to thank all of our wonderful family and friends that have shown love and support in this time of grieving. Losing a family member like Jake has been hard….but the understanding and love that family and friends have shown has been overwhelming – and we can’t thank you enough.
We will get though this – but we miss him so much. My grandma once said that time heals all wounds, so we muddle through the days and wait for time to move on. Thank you all for your kind words and numerous prayers. They have been felt and appreciated.
